My second-to-last day in Taiwan was spent in the rural country-side with my cousins and relatives. I am definitely a die-hard city girl, but I have a secret love for small villages and nature... as long as it's mixed in with a little bit of Wifi. I went biking with my cousin and brother and encountered this cute abandoned railroad track and had to stop for a few pics. I have to say, biking around the country through fields and lonely roads really revives the free-spirit in me. Until I encountered a spider as big as my head, that is. (I saw it in its web high up in the trees) That's when I got super paranoid and panicked because I realized those spiders were common in this area. :o You can imagine how fast (but cautious) I sped home on that bike.
